Are We Ready for The Olympics?

Terrible storm almost totally destroyed new seaport in Sochi, built for the Olympic Games 2014. The raging Black sea destroyed constructions of a new cargo seaport, built in the mouth of the Mzymta river. Experts estimate losses to reach tens of millions of rubles. The crew of the diving boat “Nord” was reported missing. Mzymta cargo seaport is one of the most important Olympic objects, being built in the city of Sochi. The port will receive construction materials of future ice stadiums, where hockey, figure skating, skating, short track and curling competitions will take place in 2014. The seaport was expected to start operation early in 2010, but now no one can tell anything for certain. According to local scientists, the main reason of the catastrophe is that construction works were performed with numerous violations.
