Russia celebrates Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus

Today Russians are celebrating Day of Unity of the Peoples of Russia and Belarus. On this day 14 years ago, the heads of the two states signed the treaty establishing the community, which was based on the principles of sovereignty and equality.
