Explosion in the mine in Sverdlovsk Region: 9 died

An explosion happened in the mine of Yestyuninskaya in Sverdlovsk Region, not far from the city of Nizhniy Tagil on Wednesday, December, 23. At the moment of the explosion 123 persons were in the mine. 114 were evoked, 9 died. According to the declaration of the mine’s owner, the families of explosion's victims receive 1million rubles compensations. He also sponsors their funeral. The explosion is supposed to be caused by detonation of ammonite being transported in the special metal mine cars. There were 4 kilos ammonium-nitrate explosive there. The day of December, 25 is declared a day of mourning in Sverdlovsk Regiom.
