Avalanche blocked traffic on the federal road in Altai Republic

An avalanche descended on the Federal Road M-52 near the settlement of Chibit (Altai Republic ) and blocked the traffic. It was restored in about one hour, reports the pres service of Russian Emergency Ministry, Altai Republic Department. The avalanche descended in the morning, at 7. 25 a.m. (local time) (4. 25 a.m. MSK). The length of the road section, covered with snow was rather small, about 8 metres. That’s why the consequences of the avalanche were liquidated rather fast, by 8.30 a.m. (local time) (5.30 a.m. MSK). It is not reported if anybody was hurt.
